About me: Section on the profile page where users can enter a short paragraph about themselves.
Achievements: Different targets users can achieve after completing a series of activities within the program (e.g., posting one recognition a week for four weeks). Achievements advance a user’s profile and are visible to others.
Activity: Metric in the Recognition Dashboard reports that indicates activity taken in the system. The four types of activity tracked are: Comments Written, Posts Liked, Posts Shared, Posts Written.
Activity Feed: Main page of all strategic recognition published in the platform for viewing, filtering, sharing, commenting, liking, printing certificates, etc.
Approve: See Publish.
Approval: See Publish.
Approver: See Reviewer.
Author: The person who enters a recognition post in the program.
Badge: See Achievements.
Carousel: One of the set of scrolling slides visible on the platform home page (small or large).
Categories: Generic term for the types of measurement assigned to recognition posts. There are different Category Groups based on your company’s specifications.
Category Groups: Category Groups are different sets of measurement types specified by your company (e.g., core values, impact areas). These groups appear throughout the program, from the post form to the filter options for viewing activity and other data.
Comments: An annotation or remark to a post. It is also a way to filter or segment the data.
Dashboard: Reporting feature for viewing various participation metrics for different time frames and filters in the platform.
Groups: Different ways to segment your company information (e.g., department, location, job position).
Icon: Pre-selected images used by some programs that users can choose from as profile pics or for adding an image to a recognition post.
Large Carousel: The set of scrolling slides on the right side of the home page. Content is configured during setup.
Lifetime Points: The aggregation of total points per user based on activity completed in the system (e.g., posts written, comments written, posts shared, posts received, etc.), which provides a single number representing participation in the platform.
Like: Feature for expressing positive support, interest, or popularity of a certain post. It is also a way to filter and segment data in the platform.
Nomination: See recognition.
Notification: An alert within that appears in the menu bar or next to a quick link icon to indicate an action to take (e.g., a new recognition post to review or a survey to take).
Participation: Metric tracked in Dashboard reports. On the Recognition Dashboard, this metric tracks writing and receiving recognition. On the Survey Dashboard, participation reflects users or recipients who have completed the survey.
Peer Recognition: Page in the program for posting recognition for fellow employees.
People: Employees in your company. The individual users in the program.
Points: Given to users for completing a single activity (e.g., posting, liking, sharing, commenting). Points serve as an indicator of participation. Points may or may not be redeemable for items like company gear or other products, based on your company's program specifications.
Post: A type of story in the program that can be viewed by employees. Based on your company’s specifications, types of posts could include Recognition, Customer Testimonials, Personal Best Practices, etc.
Program: Your company's program within the Brand Integrity Platform. Your program will have a customized name (e.g., The Acme Way, The Blue Inc. Experience).
Publish: A reviewer will publish a post after completing a review of the recognition.
Quick link icon: The large round icons on the program legacy home page.
Quick link widget: The large boxes on the program home page.
Recognition: A story that is submitted by an author for review and publishing.
Register: Feature for a user to use their email address to gain access to the program.
Reviewer: The person responsible for reviewing new posts prior to publishing them in the program. This is usually the manager or direct supervisor of the recipient.
Share: Feature for sending a post to other employees or groups of employees.
Small Carousel: The set of scrolling slides on the left side of the home page. Content is configured during program setup.
Subscription: Email alerts for activity updates at a certain frequency (daily, weekly, monthly).
Team: A link to view the people or users in your program.
Ticket: Automated alert that is generated as part of a Customer Engagement Program, indicating an employee has a customer follow-up call to conduct.
Trigger Alert: See Ticket.
User: An individual employee in your program. Users are referred to as People within the program.
Widget: An element of the platform home page that displays information or provides a way for users to interact with the program.
