Brand Integrity works with your company to set up the home page for your company program during the implementation process. Program Administrators and Home Page Administrators have the ability to change features of this page.
Navigate to the Admin panel Configuration page by clicking the Settings icon in the top menu bar and selecting Configuration from the drop-down.
From the main screen of the Configuration page, click on Home in the left side panel under the Pages section.
The Home Page Config page contains widgets for the images and text messages that appear on the home page of your company's program. In the screenshot above, the image widgets on the left correspond to the images on the left side of the home page and the two text widgets on the right correspond with the welcome message and quick link icons that make up the right two-thirds of the home page.
To quickly hide an image or text message widget, click the eye icon, which will inactivate it. Click the X to delete a widget or click the title of the widget to open it up for editing.
Drag the boxes to change the order in which the widgets appear.
Customize a message
Program Administrators and Home Page Administrators can add a custom message to appear on the home page.
Click Textbox from the Add Widget drop-down menu. This brings up the customization options for the text widget.
Check the box next to Show widget to make the text box appear on the home page.
Type a title for the widget. This title will appear in the blue box on the configuration page so it should be a short description, for example, "Welcome message" or "New employee announcement." You can choose to show the title of the welcome message within the widget by checking the box. Checking this box will display the title above the actual message for users to see.
Check the box next to Show on Mobile? to display the message on mobile platforms like smartphones or tablets.
Indicate which users should be able to see the widget by selecting the appropriate group from the drop-down menu. For example, if you want to set a reminder to managers to schedule time with their teams to collaborate on survey results, you can choose to only display the message to users designated as managers in your company program by selecting managers from this drop-down. The default setting is All employees so, unless changed, the message will appear to all users in your company program.
Type your message into the edit text box. Use the buttons at the top of the box to format the message as desired (e.g., bullets, bold, italics, hyperlinks, etc.). A preview of what the text will look like will appear below the edit box.
Finally, check the box to display an X in the message box for users to close out of the message if desired.
Don't forget to Save!
** Note: You have to hit Save twice to create the message. Save once in the widget editor and then again on the Home Page Config screen.
Add an image
Program Administrators and Home Page Administrators can also add images to the home page.
Select Images from the Add Widget drop-down menu to create a new image on the home page.
Enter a title for the image. This title can appear with the image, if desired, by clicking the Show title? checkbox.
Clicking the Show on Mobile? checkbox will have the image appear on mobile platforms like smartphones or tablets. We usually recommend not including images on mobile platforms for simplicity of design and ease of use.
Upload the desired image by clicking Browse, finding the image on your computer, and then clicking the Save Imagebutton. It may take a moment for the image to load, but once it is loaded, the filename will appear and then it is time to Save again.
Click the green Save button to save the image to the home screen.
(Note that you have to click two different Save buttons.)
